AMFORI AT A GLANCE
Amfori is a global organisation (over 2400 members worldwide) supporting environmental and human rights due diligence in supply chains. Their vision, 'Trade with purpose' heps members monitor and improve their supply chains to deliver social and environmental benefits. A partnership with amfori helps us ensure our products are manufactured without child labour, discrimination or unsafe worker conditions.
WHY
amfori
There are big industry issues that can be hard to tackle as a small New Zealand business. We believe collaboration is key, which is why in 2018 we joined amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative. Working as part of a global collective, with an agreed international working standard, means more leverage for transformation within the fashion industry. Incorporating the amfori BSCI standards into our own code of conduct requirements means we’re taking a stand for better industry practice.
HOW
Safe standards for all
Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) gives us access to world-class standards and tools that help us continuously maintain and improve our own processes of supply chain mapping, monitoring, remediation and education. Through our membership our suppliers also get access to training and education on the common issues that the industry face so that they can re-shape industry standards from within.
How amfori Works
Amfori BSCI is not a certification. This means brands and suppliers aren’t just handed a grade year after year with no direction or resources. Instead, they are an industry-driven supply chain management system, giving members access to world class standards and tools to improve our own processes of supply chain mapping, monitoring, and remediation.

Production FAQ
In a world where it’s easy to profess to ethical and sustainable standards, it’s important to us to actually be transparent about how we work, who we work with and how we support more vulnerable stakeholders in the supply chain.
Code of Conduct
We care how we do business, who we do business with, and how people are treated. This Code helps us ensure we, and our suppliers, act respectfully and responsibly.
